Achieving the goal of manifesting abundance in your life really is possible. It really does not matter where you have come from or who you really are. Having an abundant life will come from your desires, needs and wants. Pretty much the people and circumstances in your life at this point in time are expressions and reflection of the innermost thoughts whether you are aware of this fact or not.

Manifesting abundance in your life comes from a simple understanding that your thoughts have the power they do. The quality of how you have thought and what you are thinking now shapes your entire life starting from birth. Of course as a baby, your thinking ability was not too high yet so it did not do much. As a baby, your thoughts are mainly focused on basic instincts for certain needs and simply just absorbing of all things seen, heard, felt, smelled, and tasted.

From that point on, you learned to believe what your parents taught you. What you learned from your parents taught you how to socialize as a child. Then you went to school and learned that life is cold and unyielding. You were taught that manifesting abundance was foolish.

Most likely, they said you could do it by laboring hard, getting lucky, or being born with some rare and special genes. It is most likely that you will not achieve and abundant life. You are not going to starve to death and you might have a decent house (Although this can happen without luck or without being incredibly intelligent). You can just forget about those big dreams and some sincere meaning you had, for example like marrying just anybody instead of your soul mate.

The truth is that you can infact have abundance, and it isn’t luck, it isn’t education and it isn’t good genes. Guess what, you also will not need to live a life of slavery, boredom, drudgery or do a job that you despise.

You can do well. You are a lot to do well. You deserve to do well.

To get that abundant life you need to know that you actually deserve it. You need to know this in the deepest part of who you are. You will need to know specific ways of bringing this into being.

Everyone is different, the cosmic laws of manifesting abundance is universal. They find unique expression in you and your life. For instance, as a musician applies a universal law while playing an instrument yet has a unique style for composing and playing. In order not to become confused, you need to keep this in mind. Manifesting abundance has nothing to do with keeping up with anyone else.

Manifesting abundance means that you may or may not get married. You may or may not become famous. You may be as wealthy as Bill Gates or you may be modest in your earnings. It is going to depend on the way you define abundance.

Look deep into your heart. Manifesting abundance is all about bringing into reality your heart’s desires. You are actually going to live out your dreams.

With that being said, what does it take to manifest abundance? Do you know the cosmic laws you need to align yourself with?

* You deserve to live your fantasies. Take the time to find a quiet space or some internally private space each day for yourself, if this is hard for you to realize. You need to meditate on the concept of you being deserving of your desires. There are various ways to meditate, so learn how if you do not already know how. Since you have been conditioned for so long to think you are not good enough for a charmed life, you need to re-program yourself and recondition yourself to know the opposite.

* You need to know why you want something. This is something that needs to be deeply ingrained in your mind. If not, you will manifest things you really will not want after you have manifested them. Remember to be careful what you ask for, because that is what you will get.

*Once you are positive that you know what it is you want, let your dreams and fantasies take over. Put intense focus on those dreams.

*Make sure to take all the action you can to make your dream happen. For instance if you think you need more technical knowledge, you should get on the Internet and get all of the information you can. If you want to go to a certain website or read a particular book make sure to feel free.

* You need to understand that the work you do towards manifesting abundance will be so inspired that it will work for you. For instance, consider the professional basketball player who works by playing his favorite sport and getting paid outrageous amounts of money just to do it.

* You should let things manifest as they will in your life. Do not try to force them. Keep in mind that that which you desire is on its way to you right now. Have the patience that comes along with knowing this.

Begin moving towards your lifetime dreams; they are waiting for you now.

The bedroom is one of the most important rooks in the home and is associated with rest, relaxation, and comfort. One needs to be sufficiently rested to perform well during the day. According to the laws of Feng Shui, If the main door of a home is directly opposite the bedroom door, the occupant of that room will face legal problems. Characteristics of Soul

At the dawn of spring, I am reminded by my children the joy of anticipating new life. They will usually see a flower or two that has made its way through the soil to a world beyond itself. What starts out as a seedling or bulb is transformed by nature’s capacity to evolve. Inside each of us lies dormant an awareness, an identity, an ability to grow beyond what we appear to be. Every moment, we are being challenged by others and by circumstances to create a life that exceeds our present state of living. To move toward our highest good takes a willingness on our part to let go of what we know to what can be known in and through us. You and I are part of the Created Order we see around us, and we are participants in Creating Order out of what we have been given to care for. With this in mind, let us turn to ways our soul can be described in the characteristics that make up a flower:

1. The Ground. The ground nurtures, protects, and gives birth to a flower. Inside the womb of the ground, life is taking root long before we can see it. Because we cannot see a flower that has been planted in the earth, does not mean life is not being created. To be full participants in our world means to be fully connected and rooted in the world we have been given.

2. The Stem. The stem begins its growth in the earth below and into the sky above. This part of the flower is the connecting characteristic of the plant. Much like humanity, we are in this world without being fully of it. This creates a sacredness to our lives. It is our unique ability to live and grow in a way no one ever has, is, or ever will.

3. The Flower. In full bloom, a flower is the illumination of all the life that has preceded it. The radiance and color that pour out of it create life. Notice the next time you look at a flower how you are affected by it. You may notice your heart open and be filled with joy. Or, you may notice more energy and clarity in your vision for being blessed with great beauty.

4. The Spirit of a Flower. The spirit of a flower is the life force moving in and through it. It is the essence of a flower that identifies with your spirit. This part of you opens from the inside out and becomes ONE with the spirit of a flower. It is the same energy that runs in and through you. Like a flower, you begin to radiate your own soul from the essence of your own being.

Meditation Tips

Sure there are at least 10 articles on Mastery of Meditation and Yoga detailing all the wonderful benefits of meditation.  Here are 2 of these, Top 10 Profound Benefits of Meditation and Amazing Health Benefits of Meditation.  I am also sure there are thousands of such articles all over the internet and that is how it should be, since meditation is the best and most important part of human life.  But meditation can also lead to problems in your life and in order to deal with these problems, it is important to be aware of them.

So, in this article I am going to discuss the risks of meditation and give you some tips on how to deal with them.  In particular, I am going to focus on 3 affects of meditation which could create problems for you.  These dangers of meditating are surprisingly more applicable to the serious meditator, than to the casual dabbler.  So if you are just starting out with your practice, here are some potential challenges you will have to learn to deal with.

3 Risks of Meditation:

1. Using Meditation for Escape:

Using meditation to escape from the harsh realities of your life is not the purpose of this practice.  Meditation is the profound art which teaches you how to live with great compassion, wisdom and composure IN your life.

By practicing meditation, you are developing into an entirely different type of human being.  A human being who is free from the clutches of the ego and endless selfish interests.  Such a person is then a force for greater good, and is available to life to use as she sees fit.  Hiding in the corner of your house, concentrated on your mantra or breath, is not the objective, no matter how peaceful that is.

So who are the people most in danger of confronting this problem?  Let’s discuss that next.

Concentration Meditation Junkies:

This danger is most prevalent amongst those who practice concentration techniques.  Don’t get me wrong, concentration based techniques are an important part of the meditative process, as with a “monkey mind” jumping all over the place, you are not going to get much meditation done.  But, once you have developed expertise in this type of meditation, you know as well as I do, that it can become a handy form of escape, when life gets too much to handle.

To some degree this too is ok.  As getting a break during a difficult time is life, can be refreshing and healthy, but the danger lies in this becoming a pattern or addiction.  In other words, as soon as life gets difficult, you run away from the problems, by indulging in your meditation.  This is then just like using TV or another form of escape to avoid the challenges in your life.  This is not the purpose of meditation.

Again, I want to emphasize that developing concentration is an important part of meditation, it is a prerequisite to real meditation, but be careful in letting it became a form of escape from life.

2. Misusing Meditative Powers:

Meditation is known to bestow a great many blessings onto the practitioner over time.  Some of what one obtains from long term meditation are various psychic powers or abilities.  In addition, to these paranormal powers, the meditator certainly also evolves in various other ways, growing both in character and persona.  The risk here lies is the misuse of these of powers and abilities.

I have written about how to approach psychic powers previously and emphasized that their use should be only for spiritual growth or truly helping others.  You can read the following 2 articles for more on this topic, The Right Way to Acquire Psychic Powers and Free Psychic and Clairvoyant Development Tools.  But, the other “enhancements” one gets from meditation should also be wisely used.

Meditation certainly makes a person charismatic and attractive.  It also gives the person great power and magnetism.  There are other character enhancements as well and what is important is that the meditator does not use these blessings for selfish and wrong reasons.

So, be on the lookout for this as well.  Don’t get tempted into doing the wrong thing.  Don’t fall into the trap of becoming a master manipulator or one who influences the weak or vulnerable for personal gain and pleasure.  We have all read about various Gurus, Priests and Swamis who have abused their influence and powers in this way.  Lets not fall into their category .

3. Becoming Robotic:

Witness, witness, witness.  Stay in the moment.  Listen.  Power of the now.  Watch your thoughts.  Observe.  Be aware.  Stay alert.  If you have read this blog or wandered around the spiritual landscape for any length of time, I am sure this advice has been impressed upon you.  This is good, because in witnessing lies the answer, but there is a consequence to all this witnessing and thought/feeling watching, and that is it can make you detached and apathetic.

This is a very real danger of endlessly standing apart and bearing witness to that which is taking place.  Not getting drawn in, means that not being emotional and not getting attached.  This can then lead to becoming robotic and cold.  Fortunately, the path eventually leads to love, compassion and joy, but there will be phases when you will feel and appear quite dry and machine like.

So, be aware that such phases will come and that it is not something bad.  It is just part of the process as well.  As I have mentioned in the past, a balanced person is a very rare occurrence, so be patient in your practice and just allow your spiritual work to work on you.  In time you will have evolved into a true masterpiece, which life will then hold up for all to marvel at.

Summary:

The last thing I want to do of course, is dissuade you from meditating.  Meditation is the answer to all human suffering, but I do want you to be aware of the risks that come with meditation practice, so that you are more prepared to handle these situations when they arrive.  So use the tips and suggestions above to help yourself navigate though these problems that meditation tends to create.
